I still have the pikes. They're in their own 100gal until I reset the 405 to see if I can get them to spawn.

The black Nangus are just now reaching maturity. Once I separate out the males, I'll see if I can get any spawns between the females and the alpha male.

Sorry, no pics yet of the hatchery. It's still a work in progress.

hey oddball, you have a sword spine snook right?

Hey oddball,

Awesome collection. Couple of questions.

1. Did you find it difficult to raise your african aro? Really want to try one but have heard that they are extremely difficult to keep as youngsters.

2. Are those Scat in fresh? i love the way they look, but dont have the means for brackish so i was just curious.

This aro was one of 4. Lost 3 when still under 8".

The tiger scats are in fresh but, with a pH of over 8.0 (rift lake setup). S. tetracanthus is the most riverine of the scats and can fare well in FW.

Very impressive collection Oddball. I especially like the wolf and the green snooks. Are the green snooks really rare? I hadn't seen or heard of them before.

Here's a SAL that's been AWOL for the last 7 months. Just found him in a long unused filthy tank under a tank rack. Grew from 5.5" to over a foot on ???
AWESOME! thats how you know you have almost enough fish.... when your fish room is a life sustaining environment to itself
