If they have a lot less crime then they don't need their government disarming them.Australia has a lot less violent crime in general, it varies greatly. Firearms aren't going anywhere, so with decent controls they can be in the hands of those who can use and look after them with the proper precautions and mindset.
I'm all for firearms training,I go to the range every month or so aside from tge training provided by my employer but I am not for members of my government attempting to require it.There are enough laws in place as it is.
