I wonder what people DO with all that extra time typing abbreviations? I don't know why I use abbreviations anyway.
Can you give me a source on this? Google isnt giving me any answers but thats probably because I'm not in the US

Hello; The one who can back up the claims of being molested with some sort of proof are worth considering. If it is just he said or she said or whatever said then I have doubts.
I have known of a couple of times when a female student threatened to make such an accusation because they did not like their grade. The teachers in question were able to get to the truth but had to sweat it out a few days.
In one case all the faculty got the word that a female student had learned the trick when she accused her father. She figured that was a way to get a grade without doing the work. When the student approached the teacher with the threat, the teacher said nothing. Took her straight to the office. He then asked her to tell the principal what she had just said. She had not had time enough to format a good lie and accidently told the truth about the threat. That stopped that one.
Another one I know of was similar in that a small number of female students who hung together were unhappy with their grades so made such a story. That teacher knew the group and also knew that one girl did not join in. When that student was asked she was willing to tell how the other girls had made the story up and had asked her to join in. She was honest enough to tell the truth and put it in writing..
The sad thing being there was simply no opportunity for either thing to have happened. A school with hundreds of people around and teachers never alone with a student. Regardless the one teacher was treated like he was guilty for a time.
I am pretty sure some of the sexual assault claims on college campuses have proven out to be false. Made the accused students look like animals in the press for a long time.
Hum, if I wanted to get back at somebody how could I hurt them with no proof???

I'm thinking back in 1st grade I bumped into a female classmate...now she is going to say I sexual harassed her(40 something years later).
Actually, back in the 90's I was best friends with this female at work. I went to talk to her right after work one time. Out of the blue, she said if I didn't leave her alone she would file sexual harassment on me. I was shock and told myself this isn't going to happen. I went straight to our boss. She(boss) knew it was B.S. I didn't talk to that girl anymore.
