Sounds like some kind of loophole designation to get around a landlord's "no pets" policy.hello; Just curious about this, new to me, thing going on with "comfort animals". Talked to a short term neighbor last fall. She had a dog and told me she is trying to get the dog cleared to be a comfort animal. Said she had had a trauma of some sort living with her parents. Sounded fishy to me at the time and other talks with her seemed to confirm she talked a lot of BS in general.
My general impression is this "comfort animal" thing is perhaps a fad for many or another "me too" sort of thing. I get that combat veterans can be helped and my guess is this is what the programs were intended to help. Seems to me though it is another program that has been stretched beyond the original intent.
I see people in the supermarket with their dogs now. Does not seem a good idea to have dogs in a food place or lose on airplanes.
Here is a link to the story that caught my eye.

Kids can do that, sometimes my daughter drives me nuts.Holy crap man my kids are litary hitting ever single nerve....i guess its withdrawl or whatever but man even the baby is annoying me.
hello; That sounds possible. Never thought of that angle.Sounds like some kind of loophole designation to get around a landlord's "no pets" policy.
We actually got these at a Bonsai course, however, we don't tend to them all that much. Being succulents they don't need much water and we just trim them occasionally. In the first photo I like that tall plant that is leaning against the wall and the small one to the left of it looks like it could be made into a nice bonsai.
I had a 2ft tall plant outside with my other succulents which just flowered and withered off. This was strange but we have more. Nice plantOoh, just saw you're mother of thousands! Heres a pic of mine. View attachment 1294900
Comfort animals are relevant for some, however, some people just loop around the system to take their pets on planes with them in seats or whatever. Instead of the hold. Needs more controls.hello; Just curious about this, new to me, thing going on with "comfort animals". Talked to a short term neighbor last fall.
