Law is the law deadly force cannot be used unless your defending yourself.

I can walk up to you punch you in the face. You fall down. I then place my hands behind my back and kneel. You get up punch me in the face. Guess what it's not longer self defense. It's not retaliation.

I break I to your house and steal your TV. You shoot me in the back while I'm on the way out....guess what you better have a really good lawyer and allot of $$$

The shop keeper was not justified in the shooting in the eyes of the law

If you can prove you retreated to the furthest point possible and had no alternative besides defending yourself and taking the intruders life then there isn't much they can do to you.
 
Lmao lots of reasons why people need to be trained and learned the law before John wayning it up.
 
It's a horrible law that requires a person in their own home to flee or retreat from an intruder.Whether or not the homeowner chooses to confront an intruder should be completely up to him or her.
 
Oh I absolutely agree man but it is what it is. Also anyone with half a brain can explain why they were only able to retreat x amount of feet before doing what needed to be done. Ya know what I mean...gotta be creative. But honestly this is why I laugh when we have those debates about our current laws.... I find it funny that people don't think manditory training would be a good thing. Imo steal my TV if my options are shooting you in the back or going to jail for manslaughter 2nd degree murdermurde have a blast with that TV bro.

Yes and thank goodness we dont have such a law here.I am aware that some godforsaken states do lol.

I wouldn't trust it even without that type of law.always some whacko DA that wants to make a name for themselves. Key is creativity. I'll say no more lol

Oh tell me about it.Our current pro offender and anti cop DA must think that those letters stand for Defense Attorney.This guy has caused the upcoming trial of two brothers who gunned down a police officer during a videogame store robbery to be rescheduled until this November and he asks the judges to give minimum sentences to those who are found guilty.
