That's why you circle around front first or make him turn towards youShooting someone in the back is not standing your ground.

Yeah but you'd better get around him before he gets too close to the exit point and I doubt if he will turn around if he is Hellbent on escaping. That's why you circle around front first or make him turn towards you
Hello; What I am about to write likely does not apply in this particular case. This guy has screwed up in one sense if he goes to jail over a $5 beer. It is more of a general attitude about life.Guy who shot him is a idiot. Locked up for a long time or maybe even life over a 5 dollar beer can. 50 cents for each year doesn't sound like a good bargain to me. And he didn't even file a report. Pure murder if the thief didn't have a weapon and wasn't physically threatening in any way. If 5 dollars really was that important to him, call up the police and give them a description of the guy and your camera record.
It's still wrong to steal, theft is theft, if your gonna steal your gonna have consequences. So the net gain is people would not steal a beer from this guys again ?
If this kid was holding an inocinno hostage I would call the shooter a hero.
Say the guy that got a job with the logging crew was asked to steal a beer inorder for the crew to accept him. He does this and is shot in the back while doing so. Is it still justified ?
I agree...sad he was killed. People got to learn don't do the crime......and he won't steal from anybody else ever again. The store employee was wrong in shooting him but the young man put himself in that situation and he'd probably done so on more than one occasion.
