Did you hear about the seven bandits who tried to rob a jewelry store in Texas?
Turns out that the men were illegals from Mexico and they would have been successful had an off duty cop and an armed citizen not showed up.The two men ran in with guns drawn and were able to secure the aliens until more police arrived.

I didn't hear about that. Right place right b time. Good for them

Drivers every where are pretty bad. We're talking about the over achievers. Left lane doing 60, merging without looking, driving with your knees shaving type of people.

Are you taking into account how many law enforcement agents retire with ptsd ? How stressful those jobs are ? It's not just about the dangers that can be quantified. I doubt someone like you would understand how half the crap they effects them

There was a report a while back about how the number of correction officers that retire with ptsd is equal to or greater than soldiers returning from war.

What does PTSD have to do with carrying a gun? BTW a correction officer is a prison guard not a cop.

Yes but the right to bear arms shall not be infringed(not a little not a lot, even if only one dude wants to keep something and everyone else in the world thinks he shouldn't have it, doesn't matter, because the right to posses arms or speak etc, is a inalienable right)

Our rights do have limits to them. For example freedom of speech is restricted if inciting a riot. If some one wanted to buy a nuke and point it at washington, would it be a unfair restriction of his rights to take it away from him or not allow him to buy a nuke? A extreme example I know.
