In California the "stray needle " epidemic is really spreading, the free program for sterile needles was supposed to save people from stds/aids/infections but has now resulted in used discarded needles threatening the general populace, imagine needles where they can get you while you walk or swim, buried in sandy beaches like land mines, washing ashore on beaches, threatening swimmers, beachcombers, and surfers, they also litter the sidewalks and hallways, putting everyone there at risk.
