Hello; Not offended here. I had an uncle in the navy stationed at Pearl in 1941 and he was present during the attack. He was on shore during the attacks. Lost a lot of his hearing from the explosions. He served the duration and lived. He died of old age years ago.
He could smoke and blow the smoke out one of his ears. I think they eventually fixed his hearing a bit but he always wore hearing aids.

I went to Pearl Harbor back on 2002.
It doesn't appear on Google's page either....not surprisingly.
What is a surprise is that it's not on the top half of Fox's website either.
I don't go on there but I will check and see if it gets much mention on their cable channel.
Yahoo finally posted an article on it. I remember the USS. Missouri was parked close by(2002). Went on a tour.
Around 2010 met an old guy in Church that show a picture of the Japanese surrendering on it. Then he pointed in the crowed and said that's him. Was pretty much speechless.
Edit: A commentor stated that this is an old yahoo article.
