Our rights do have limits to them. For example freedom of speech is restricted if inciting a riot. If some one wanted to buy a nuke and point it at washington, would it be a unfair restriction of his rights to take it away from him or not allow him to buy a nuke? A extreme example I know.

Let's put it this way.
You agree to pay rent to live somewhere, you also agree to follow the home owners rules right?
The house is america. The home owners are the government.
Now don't get me wrong, I despise rules and authority but as long as you want to live here you ARE going to follow the rules.
