One 1,000G Indoor Monsterfish Pond Coming Up! (Ghetto Style)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Went to the LFS yesterday and brought my 18" RTC and two kois. Was gonna sell them to the LFS that I bought my Pacu to the last time. Dropped them off and closed the deal with the owner.

Since I had the stryo box would me, it would a shame to bring it home empty right?

So in true MFK fashion, I saw these 3 awesome looking Albino ID Sharks swimming in a 500G tank, they actually looked pretty flawless, no nicks, scratches or anything, very well taken cared of.

Would be a shame NOT to buy at least one. Drove a hard bargain with the shop owner and got it home for roughly $30, pretty much the same price I managed to sell the RTC and two kois for, breaking even.

Two remaining Kois, these hardly bother the Ray, so for now they get to stay. I actually like the guy on the right, he's growing pretty fast, should be around 18" or so already.

Btw, I just computed the water volume I have this morning as I filled the water level higher than usual:

10ft x 2ft = 1,173G

Nice Albino ID. Best thread on MFK.

Don't know if this is even close to being the best, but I appreciate your encouragement Jakob. :)

It's one of the better ones anyway. You're living the dream!

I would say the Albino ID for a RTC is a good push.

Isn't the 1 going to miss his two buddies?????:naughty:

Hahahaha... I really like the weird "variety" of fish in my pond, having 5 IDs would make it an ID pond with friends.

Besides, I have a forum buddy who's waiting to sell me his 12" motoro, looking forward to that, I think I've caught the ray bug, fascinating creatures these guys.

Is the Ray a male?
