you guys have some great ponds. So i want to know if you have a pond in an area that gets cold and you have large fish in your pond like gar, how to you keep it heated? Or is this a stupid question and people in cold areas don't keep fish like that? I do understand that some fish can be taken in in the winter but what about the ones you cant?

Most of the gar, except the Florida gar, can be kept in unheated ponds over winter. You just have to make sure that there is an area of the surface of the pond that is kept free of ice. Gars are native fish and as long as they are found in your area, then they can overwinter in a large enough pond without a problem.

just amazing... i really enjoyed this..

A one off a kind Garden Koi pond. Pond took one and a half days to build and is self maintaining. The pond is set to the same as the rain fall so when it rains the rain does not alter the pond water, (pH and hardness). The pond remains full at all times even during hot weather. Pond houses Koi, snails, and some native frogs which found there way to the pond and made it home good bug control. Has pond Lilies in the pond. The pond has a in pond filter, foutain and a pond and garrden lighting system and has a water fall which runs off the filter and foutain. The pond has a drain system which leads to the surrounding area which helps watering the plants around the pond and the plants do very well and grow really well.
