ps - I got a lone 7" female abalios. The pair went at it for days and I finally have some mouth brooding. This little female is on her own though.

I'm not sure if we'll ever find out where the altifrons were collected from. They went through Manaus (as many other fish) but it's probably not where they were from. May have to live with that

Yeah you are very lucky to get a group that size, you would not have been able to piece together a group like that especially from a reputable source. Their colors are just stunning....
