pentair fiberglass tanks with viewing windows

That's the reason we had to go with the 600 gallon. The 600 gallon tank (30" tall) barely fit through both doors to make it to its final destination in our basement. In fact, I think there's some streaks of blue on both door jambs still...lol.

This is exactly why I have to go with the 600 as well.....it's going to be such a tight fit that I might have to remove the wood trim from the doorway lol

The date of arival is still March 18th as of now......has anyone ordered the 270 gallon?.....if I like this 600 I might order a 270 for only $800

i was scoping those hard years ago as an option... might be best single window option really.. i can't see those ever leaking. Windows might scratch but you can always buff that.

If they have any downside, they have bigger foot prints vs the same gallon aquarium because of the support ribs.. I hope you measured your doors!

Yea the height of the 600 is 30 inches my doorway in the basement is 30.5 inches lol....I can take the wood trim out for an extra 1-2 inches if needed

i was seriously looking at a 5000 gallon one... was toying with idea of cutting a picture window in the basement wall and burying it next to the house... very doable before I opted for DIY. The things we do...

Well the 270 (6x3x2) arrived today....and I am very pleased with the size of the viewing window.....it doesn't cut any of the tank off

Congrats.
Great to hear you're happy with the window.
