The stand for the 270 is being built today with 2x6s the 600 will be on cinderblocks and plywood

I'm using about 36 cinderblocks going about 3 high for height

Update.....have been busy today....got the 600 and set it up on the cinderblocks stand......I will box it in with plywood when I get the chance as of now im on a time line to get it set.... I wasn't exactly ecstatic with the viewing window for the 600 it cuts off a lot and in order for the average male 5'10 to see a happy medium of low and high swimming fish without having to crouch down the 600 has to be on a 32- 36 inch stand.....my stand is about 26 inches......I decide to go lower due to the 30 inch height of the tank by itself almost brought the top of the tank to my color bone......making it easier to reach in the tank......

Overall the window on the 600 isn't that large at all.....if anyone is looking into getting one I highly recommend the 270, 405, 720 gallon tanks.....I feel like my 270 gallon viewing window is slightly smaller then the 600......originally I would of gone with the 720 gallon (8x4x3)....but it wouldn't fit thru my doorway :(....my doorway was 31 inches wide.....600 gallon tank was 30.25 and fit with a tad bit of clearance just in case anyone is running close like me

Looks good. Thanks for posting Definitly leaning towards getting that 405 now . It's probably the camera angle but the window almost looks a little bit slanted. Not that it matters.

The window is slightly uneven but it's the camera angle as well.....my intentions are to make it into an in wall build in the future but as of now it's not worth it in my unfinished basement

It frustrates me how gheto it is and how I'm gonna be rigging up the lid lol basement floods about a half inch in certain places ocasionally so guess cinderblocks will have to do
