bump for this...

midnight all glued together
soggysandwich you might want to try and put a t-connecter instead of the elbows that are connected to the bulkheads, it will allow air to get in and help with the flow.
midnight that would overflow the tank i think.
plumber892003 The only way I know of to get more water out is to pump more water in.
Remember, the overflows (if sized properly, meaning not too small) will only drain as much water as they are given.
midnight not keeping up,and its only a 258gph pump,1" bulk overflow,3/4" return
Today 09:47 PM
plumber892003 Is it keeping up with your pump? Or is your pump running the sump dry?
midnight ok this sucks, just pointed it down, still the same.
i think its the elbow that came with the bulkhead kit.
why would they put it in the kit if it doesnt flow good?

We're all here to help each other out, but you gotta give yourself credit too man! You built the thing and it looks like a fine job too! There's always going to be a few bugs to iron out but I know the fine folks at MFK can handle it.
Keep up the good work man!

Clean set up....I've seen the same drawer and sump at Office Depot....I almost bought the two, they were on sale....Drawer was $24 and 32g sump was $14...Great job...The mods should pin your pix up and have you explain word for word on how to set this up....

If you want more water flow, what about adding a powerhead to the bulkhead entrance....
