Add another 1" bulkhead, then tee the two together before entering your wet/dry.

Your pump was running more water than your tank was draining !!! ??? I thought it was only a 265 gph pump...? ... Crappy.. How high was the level in the sump? And what was the water level in the tank..

Definately raise the water level to just over the bulkheads .. then fill your sump to about an inch or more over the intake.. then open the drains on the bulkheads and turn the pump on...

I always try to keep an inch or two over my submersible pump..

Here's the results for that overflow calculator...

Using the following input parameters
Gallons per Hour = 600
Drain and Overflow sizes are calculated as
Recommended minimum drain pipe diameter = 1.01 inches
Recommended minimum linear overflow size = 9 inches

Using the following input parameters
Gallons per Hour = 325
Drain and Overflow sizes are calculated as
Recommended minimum drain pipe diameter = 0.74 inches
Recommended minimum linear overflow size = 5 inches

:screwy:

I am glad it wasn't just my math that was off. There are some sort of variables that cause gravity feeds to not follow the math. Dunno...

I have three one inch overflows and I am flowing about three hundred gallons per hour. But that is not due to the overflows. I went overkill because that is what ya do.
