EAF you have a seriously gangster collection of fish. I agree with the above though, your fish looks like capapretum to me.

Head/mouth shape. Pattern and also the barbels are too short. Still a nice cat.

fugupuff that link you provided does not lead to any information in regards to the species of fish we are debating. Is it the wrong link or am I missing something?

About the barbels, how long are they supposed to be? I had thought that cap barbels never pass the base of the adipose fin?

Perhaps depends on age. Earlier in this thread, Fugupuff stated that in young fish, the maxillary barbels exceed the body length by 2-3 times in capa and 5-6 times in fila, if I recall right.

Yeah, post #77, page 8:

Almost everyone can agree, before the barbels break off, at 2-4" SL size, the true filamentosum would have barbels about 5x the lenght of the body vs. 2-3x on caprepretum.
