Perhaps depends on age. Earlier in this thread, Fugupuff stated that in young fish, the maxillary barbels exceed the body length by 2-3 times in capa and 5-6 times in fila, if I recall right.
 
Yeah, post #77, page 8:
Almost everyone can agree, before the barbels break off, at 2-4" SL size, the true filamentosum would have barbels about 5x the lenght of the body vs. 2-3x on caprepretum.

fugupuff that link you provided does not lead to any information in regards to the species of fish we are debating. Is it the wrong link or am I missing something?
