Just looked up Lupinus plant. Those grow everywhere around here. Maybe I'll try a few in my pond.
Lupinus fixes nitrogen from the air. So doesn't that mean it will take less nitrogen out of the water?Just looked up Lupinus plant. Those grow everywhere around here. Maybe I'll try a few in my pond.
You can try Neam Oil, mix a cap with a drop of insect soap and warm water. Spray the entire plant surface. Another option is diluted coffee a few times a week. Just be sure that the soap is a bio-degradable soap. Both treatments have been known to take care of spider mite infestations. The womens 55 is offically nitrate free 100% via pothos. Been 3 weeks tested today and nada. Just a top off from now on. Also doesnt help that she has 5 fish in their HAHA, smallest being1.5" and the largest a syno decorus at perhaps 5". She does want more glo lites though but I am sure the pothos will have no problem handling 5-6 more tiny fish.
My tank still working on it. And WHITE SPIDER MITES!!! I knew this day would come being plants and all. Right now I am just spraying the leaves to hope and drown some that I can. Still looking for a 100% remedy that wont foul the water and the fish.
