wow looking good bro! but why won't you go ]v[onster? with that size tank you could have more larger species of fishes like peacock basses and such...well i guess everyone has their own tastes at things

Thank you for the updates. :)

Can you please show more pictures of the returns?

Cheers,

Don't get me wrong I like ]v[onster fish, but I feel that the fish I have which I like, will be comfortable at maximum size. If the tank was 10x4x4ft I would probably had put a larger number of larger species in there.

Thanks Loulou,

I can if you want but the return I am using is just a 20mm clear pipe with some bends to feed into tank, I have a 750GPH pump in the sump.

I guess you try not to disburb the surface water too much so as not to lose CO2, right? Are you planning to use any additional CO2 for the plants? And fertilisers?

Yeah, I am have been using Seachem Flourish and also Seachem Flourish Iron additives for the last two weeks. I am thinking of setting up C02, I tried the coke bottle with sugar and yeast but it didn't seem to produce.

I will probably be pricing a C02 bottle and bits in the next few weeks or so. I thought I'd see how the plants go over the next month or so with the Flourish fertilizers.

Here's a pic of the front after I just painted the edge and some of the wall.

This pretty much finishes the front of my build.

How about another picture without the masking tape? ;)
