Pond Build

This is a super cool pond build! This is something like what I wanted to do in my parents backyard, but they won't let me cause they think I'll skrew up or something. Anyways, do you have a ballpark estimate how much you've spent to build it (minus the fish). Sorry to hear about your RTC, btw.
 
Considering everything was done by an overpriced landscaper...everything, filter, skimmer, wall, rocks, digging, hauling away dirt, running electricity, plumbing, etc...I'll just say I paid far too much and could have done it myself for half the price. Would it have looked as nice, probably not....

But yeah, we're talking thousands of dollars. On the upside, the landscapers haven't charged for the last 6 months of lawn care.

Yea that sucks about the fish man. he really was a pretty one.
 
I really need to update this guys, I promise to get on it as soon as work stops kicking my arse.

I put my silver aro in this weekend...talk about a fish that's loving the wide open space! You can tell he's loving it out there.

My next post...what's a good way to heat it?
 
Yeah heating it is going to be an issue soon. Maybe I should come over and have a few beers with ya, think about it some, while watching the fish....................

Should come up with a solution in a few hours :D
