im working on my own planted tanks and all i can say is wow to all yours. hopefully mine come out somewhere around there.

Here is my 55 gal. tank planted with Java fern and anubias. Would sure like another plant to try but haven't had much luck with other types. Suggestions welcome.

That downoi plant is real cool. Do u think is will grow in a gravel substraight? I haven't seen it around hear in Lafayette LA at the lfs.
I tore the 6x2 down last week due to algae issues. Did a quick rescape yesterday cos the gar didn't like the bare tank, will be tearing it all down in a month to move house so scape wont even have time to settle in properly.

here's my latest iwagumi.....ish....style tank with amano pearlgrass, baby tears, jungle val, contortion val, dwarf hairgrass, crypt undulata....and i think thats it....
with laetacara, angels, neons, head&tail lights, apisto caucatoides, clown pleco, rubbernose pleco, otocinclus, ghost shrimp, and amano shrimp...
and i have moved stuff around since, and it has grown better due to diy co2 and a better lighting schedule, so there is less algae....i'll post more pics later.
