Thats brilliant... I'm going to have a complete overhaul of my tank... looks too artificial at the moment even though they are real plants... any suggestions?

Get rid of all of the decorations and replace them with real rocks. Adding a background might help too...

Keep the decorations, just get more plants. As the deco sits in the tank, it'll start to get covered with algae and begin to look more natural.

I have added some more bogwood today and ordered quite a bit more with some height and ordered a great deal of plants online to plant it out... I will remove a log and the castle on the left... will most likely keep the caves as the fish seem to love them... plus they can just dissapear under plants like you say... got a couple of new fish arriving tomorrow.. oh and going to add some java moss to cover the bottom

Nice tanks... love the centre plant on the left image...looks good the way it 'volcanoes' out

Just a quick question... in the right picture... the root stump.. is the resin or real wood? I can never find any real ones over here in the UK.

Cool... right flight booked and bags packed haha...

I have seen some online here but made from resin... I shall try and find a good aquatic store with some in... makes for perfect hiding places once the plant life has established
