POST PICS OF YOUR PLANTS AND PLANTED TANKS HERE

fter seeing all your tanks and comparing it to my plain tank, its pretty obvious that i'm jealous..:jaw: i was thinking of putting sand into my tank first.. my question is, which is better white or black? but i am a bit hesitant because i am not sure if the undergravel filter really works and what if the accumulated waste will just hide under the sand.. that would make my fish's life miserable.. :nilly:i'm also planning to have a black background for my tank.. i have a 6 inch golden jardini.. what light color is best suited for my aro?:bling:

p.s. besides your personalized filters, it must really be hard cleaning your tank right? i mean with all the ornaments in the tank.. :headbang2

Here's a pic of my new planted monster tank.

I'm still working on a hood for the fixture. I've grown kinda fond of the Corona bottles though.... (sigh) :screwy:

nah no flourite, would have been good but then I think I would have gone totally the way of planted tank, lots of crypts, echinodorus and alike and put in fish that would not get to large, like some Otocinclus catfish, prob tetra's and discus.

Thanks! It's a 29 gallon tank with mostly clippings I bought from someone for cheap.

Substrate: Seachem Fluorite Red
Lighting: 2 x Coralife Freshwater Dual T5 (6700K + 10000K)
Ferts: Seachem Flourish Excel, Flourish, Potassium, Iron, Phosporous and Nitrogen

I have the Red Sea Pro CO2 kit and a 20lb tank but haven't had the chance to set it up yet. Once I have that setup I will replace the Excel with it. I'm not sure if I will need CO2 in the tank though, the plants are growing fast already.

I used 6 six foot strings of led's with 180 led's each. It's not very bright, but looks natural. Best thing is there is no heat.
