Diamond your substrate is like perfectly flat. Mega flat. How did you manage to get it like that? Line up all the grains individually with tweezers? Looks great though.

I found this:

The top one is the main page, you have to pick a category.

There are some amazing things in there. Just wanted to share.

I got a carolina fanwort a while back. We'll see how it turns out. It has a grown a little during the 2 weeks I have it.
My java fern has been eaten by tinfoil. WOW. Yes, I still have my java moss. It is green but not really growing much.
I haven't got pictures of my plants... but you wouldn't be impressed anyways, not yet. I wish I had one of those designs. Soon ... Patience...

PS: Nice tank cyberhog05. It will look amazing when the stem plants fill in the rear.

Wow, the aqualandscaping are so impressive.can you tell me about the dutch aquarium? Is it similar to those posted?:):)

This is one of the nicest simple setups I have ever seen, great job.
Is that moss or algae on the driftwood? I would like to know what it is and why it's so short. Looks perfect that way.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Dutch planted tank has little visable hardscape (driftwood/rocks) and the plants are supposed to be as exotic as possible, with many different colors and leaf types. It is usually very densly planted with a gradual slope to the back, or an amphitheater shape.

Nature aquarium has often a carpet plant and plenty of driftwood, often with some substrate exposed type thing. Fine leaved plants are emphasized over huge leaves.(although broad leaves may be present) There aren't as many species of plants and often 1 species of small shoaling fish. The shape can be almost any, as long as it achieves balance.

There is a third popular style, and it involves a few large rocks with grasses to the rear and carpet plants in the front. You'll know when you see it. It probably fits into nature aquarium.

Many people on MFK have a mix of Dutch and Nature, as far as I can tell. Cyberhog's is definitely nature style.
