I hope you guys don't consider it cheatin bc I see most of you use reel and line methods and fish freshwater. But pretty sure I've tackled bigger monsters than ya'll haha. First off I fish almost exclusively by the spear no bigger rush than ambushing your fish underwater, second off, enjoy.

when i was 8 i caught a 173 lb tarpon in a 10 foot skiff i remember my dad just holding on to me while i held the pole and reeled i don't have any photos of it but i have photos of the mount
