all curupira have it..easy to ID too..round head plus this marking

perhaps only under stress then it is not so clear for the marking, but that will apply to the whole fish. The picture shown body marking so it is not under stress...

BTW

like these 3 really seem hard to find any info/picture on them

This isn't mine but mine looked identical to this when I first got it. It is very simalar match to the picture posted.

I am going to say it's curupira, the more I look at it the more I am convinced.

Today change some water...got bitten by Hoplias intermedius... got 5 dun know which is the one...
last time always when my hand go in they will move away.. now still the same but will attack...
guess the bigger they are the more aggressive they are...
