Just picked this Black wolf up at the airport today! Needs to heal up and should look good. Already cruising the tank unlike my Mala that hides all day!

My 5 year old daughter has asked what you have named the Wolf at the front. She has taken ownership of my large aimara and called him 'Barca' :D
Dun really name them.
Just remember them by which river, where or when i get it from.
Or how I get it...:)

If I have a very big tank...i will throw in these 2 aimara, 2 black wolf & 5 intermedius as they are around the same size.. last is my lacerdae as it is friendly..and other big hardly mid swimmer.

Is it corner to corner. How do they react to each other?
The bigger one want to swim over...you notice the lip there got some injury,it is new. The smaller one just still getting used to the new tank as I just shifted it.

+1, are they aggressive through the divider? Maybe a pair in the making? LOL
nope.. not so but still not so safe...
black wolf still alright with a divider.
but after somehow the divider gave way they start fighting..

Yes.. What river is it?
same one which I posted.

I have just translate the wording...said to be from Amapa river.

Guess not all Amapa got very thick bar....
some i notice the marking is like a triangle and some like arrow.
I prefer the thick bar triangle that ashdavid had.

the arrow

the triangle

Looks like it could all go wrong very quickly. For the Poly. I have a 10" aimara with 3 big SD's in a 220, he continully chases them when they come near. new inguries every day. My experiment with Cardinals and my big aimara didn't work out, they all lasted 4 days, came in the next day and one left.
Oh no I am wrong... was away for almost 2 days..
come home head count.. only have fin count left...

I guess the protection fee not enough...

I had remove my same size ansorgii... so many feeder in the tank still eat it.. atleast didnt go to waste... sometime they just kill for fun..
