Prickly sculpin!

Cool.......I wonder if the native Ozark Sculpins in my area can do the same thing?!?

Thankyou.....our Ozarks sculpins are alot smaller than your Prickly's Im scared if you put them in the same tank the Ozarks would probably end up as lunch . Funny thing is Ive never found them while looking for them ......only when fishing when I accicentally kicked over some rocks while wading.

hmm really how much smaller? mine is only about 4 inches atm and will get about 6-11 inches mostly on the lower end of 6-8 for females how big do the Ozarks get?

Ive never seen one over 4inches.....but Petersons N.A. freshwater fish guide says they can reach 5 1/2 inches.

wow that is small, about the size mine is now...yah at full grown she could eat one of those lol, still they are very pretty. When i have space i hope to set up more sculpin tanks..i think im addicted ^_^

that would be awesome! i could try and do the same..try my hand at shipping maybe if you wanted one or two..the young ones seem to be very hearty but i would worry about low devolved oxygen while in shipping? hmm maybe ill look in to it

Thanks! Ill see if we can get a house by next spring....(we finally found one but couldnt close due to the incredibly large fees they wanted for a house here in the Ozarks). My wife wont let me have another tank until we move (I only have two).....if its legal we could definately do it!
