Do you think my fry will be okay if I’m running a power filter with a mesh net over it until I can finally get my sponge filter on Monday?

Can you adjust the flow on the filter? If so it shouldn't be a issue.
 
sponge filters on amazon - hikari sponge filter i believe

- not many rbp fry around... id imagine ~ $10 ea could be in your future ?

My baby brine shrimp came in today... would you recommend I begin to feed them now? They are beginning to buzz around the bottom of my tank, but they aren’t quite swimming off the bottom just yet.

Occasionally they bounce off the bottom. Not sure if I should begin to feed them the baby brine shrimp just yet.

What size aquarium are they in? You don't have to change that amount every day but make sure you don't over feed. The large water changes will help them grow healthy.
