so I'm new too MASSIVE cats. I've got a 300 gallon with:
1 silver aro 14"
3 oscars 10" each
1 green terror 6"
1 LSN 11"

I love RTC's and TSN's but i know that the tank is too mush too small for an adult RTC. what's the thoughts on a TSN? just asking around before i do anything stupid. :)

oh and its a 6ft 300. got it used, must have been custom from what i have gathered. if that makes a difference. thanks ahead of time guys!
those two can get huge, if you have a plan to make a larger tank in one year, maybe, then you could have one of those. For now they can live but for life it'll be a bit small.
I saw a vid on yt of a guy that have a huge TSN feeding on a small tank. Geez, that give me the creeps.

got a quick question i am setting up a 210 and im gonna have my orino pbass and my silver aro in there would i be able to put a small rtc x tsn or a tsn in there with them and if so how long would it be before he grows to big for the tank
I'd say if you got a small one, like 4" or less, probably 1 year.
Depending on their diet, maybe a little more ,but you still need to find a larger tank for them. But watch out for our pbass and aro as the the rtc grows fastar than the tsn and might snack them someday.

I was thinking about getting a 265g tank and i wanted to put in either a rtc, tsn of rtc x tsn hybrid and I was just wondering if all of these will outgrow this tank?

YES they will all outgrow the tank..they cud live for a couple of years though depending on the individual's growth and diet...but yeh it also depends on the dimensions of the tank rather than the gallons.

It's a Jelly Cat... and a HUGE one at that...Pseudopimelodus apurensis

I have one and it's the coolest little tub of lard for it's size...but never moves unless it's hungry
