hmm thats just weird. if youve been using that well water in the tanks i am just clueless as to what really happened.. only other thing i can think of is it shorting out and electrocuting the fish.. but that doesnt quite fit either..

either way, id not use that pump-its jinxed lol...

wish they would have told you that BEFORE you put it in the tank! lol.. likely that is what poisoned the fish..

MEK is a highly volatile solvent, I can't see them using it for winterizing...running it 2 hrs in water would have rinsed it well enough...It had to be an ethelene glygol product, (antifreeze) or an alcohol based solvent...either way, sorry to hear about your catastrophic loss...
