Show us you Goliath Tiger Fish

hello,
New here cause i was lookin for info on the Goliath Tiger Fish. got a 125 planted discus tank, but just dont have time for them anymore But decided I want to try my hand at this BEAST. I see most of you folks have a hard time getting this fish and would like to say if any of you live near southeast Mi, I can get this fish almost anytime. but cost a pretty penny $80-$125

i've seen alot of people offering that they can get goliath tigerfish, and even seen them in person sold as goliath tigerfish. but all of them turn out to be vittatus or forskali. I am sure they have no intention to deceive, but mostly misinformed. if you canprovide pictures, that price is very reasonable for the goliath...but seriously, i have major doubts.

I second that statement, except for the price. If those are GATF, those prices aren't reasonable, they are down right DIRT CHEAP!!!!!! GL

you're the only one in the country that i'm aware of with this fish, and at that size!

Just so you know, my LFS (Skipton Pet center) sells one (not sure if it still there) thats 3 inches for like $60.

Hopefully an ATF around 6 inches can live in my 180 (6x2x2) for a few years before I go with a real tank!
