Okay, so I have the base and corners laid out and secured. After Hurricane Ian passes I’ll get started on the back wall and the right side wall.
I also will be flipping this monstrosity onto its side so I can attach the 1x6 tongue and groove boards across the bottom, paint and flip back over. Then I can place the plywood floor in.

Also my son offered to Tig weld me an aluminum frame for my oval front window. The aluminum frame will be screwed to the 19/32 plywood. Figured that would make a smoother surface to silicone that table top to.

Well, I’m back on track following the beat down that Hurricane Ian gave Cape Coral. We suffered some set backs, lost our pool cage and 25-30 clay tiles from the roof. Been cleaning up ever since.
Yesterday I was able to get some more timber and got some more layers down. The front window opening measures out to be 84” allowing for a 4x4 frame. The plywood will be a little under 2” thick holding the 72x44 3/4” oval glass table top .
Using Liquid Nails between every piece of lumber and 6” Staxx screws.

I’m going to be using this product for sealing my tank. It’s fish and plant safe. After 3 coats, it’ll give me 45 mils . You can get it in gallon, 5 gallons and 55 gallons.

Will be attaching two more timbers to the left window frame then starting on the right side. Friday, I’ll be getting another 4x6x12’er as well as another 4x6x8.
Every week will be 1-2 of each length until all sides are done. Then I can start on the floor…1x6 tongue and groove covered by plywood.
I seriously need to get a shop saw, because using a hand saw in the garage in SWFL is taking a toll on my closet ( not to mention the washing machine).

Got the left side of the front wall completed. I used (5) 4x6x3’ screwed together with 6” spapx coated screws and liquid nails sandwiched in between each one. The left wall of the frame is a 2x6 44.75” screwed and adhesive applied.
The right side will mirror the left and then I can start framing for the oval table top.
