Stand or not for huge plywood tank

That top window frame puts it at four and a half feet tall. There will be a 2x6 overlay around the whole tank. That will be where the cross braces will go. I’m thinking about putting in a total of 4, doubled up 2x8’s 74” long. Gonna notch them to fit over the top rails.

I have most of my post Hurricane Ian repairs just about caught up. I’ll be starting back up on this tank within the next week or two.
Hopefully I will be to the point of fiberglassing and waterproofing over Christmas break.

Looks amazing. Always wondered, do you guys have issues with humidity keeping a tank that large indoors? Will you be running a dehumidifier at all times?

Going shopping Friday for the lumber. I will have to use a work truck to haul it home.
(15) 4x6x10’s
(1) 4x6x12
(5) 2x12x10
(6) 4x8x3/4 “ plywood…..window and top
(6) 4x8x1/2” plywood…..walls
(2) cases of liquid nails
(1) box of tan 2” deck screws
(5) 2x6x6……filter box for bog plants
(1) box of spax 1/4” x 6” screws

then put together a list for plumbing parts

Also looking for ideas for in line heaters for a recirculating pump , since I plan to have gar, peacock bass, tinfoil barbs and some big cats in this “box”
