Stingray prices

If there was not a big demand why are people who are breeding their rays not stuck with all the pups? I have had zero issue selling the pups I have produced and based on this new litter it is still the same.
When i get friends over, and when i talk to people on work about my hobby, everyone think i am into saltwater. People get very curious about it, even they have never bin intrested in aquariums. Rays are special and deserve their price, if you cant buy the fish, you sure as hell cant keep em alive.

this thread is stupid. at least 90% of ppl who have high dollar rays have high dollar tanks, high dollar filtration and high dollar maintenance so spending a fraction of that on the fish is nothing . you are simply basing your theory from what you see on one website. just because they cant sell on here doesnt mean there is no demand. obviously if there was no demand the price would not be where its at. people in general on this site with any fish seem to become desperate and just give stuff away, because they do not have the right clientele. you can not compare the price of a rare perch to a high quality ray so just give up. the stingray section dont need any more BS
