very nice john! one suggestion tho, get an aba aba!!!!! i dont think i have seen a full grown big one on here yet. so do something unique and get an aba in that baby! whatcha think?

Get a mekong catfish lol. JK, looking nice. Can't wait to see it up and running. Gonna steal some major ideas from you, but modify them for my needs!

This is one of the first threads that I always check on when i visit MFK each time - always fascinated to see the progress on this baby. (Ha - baby! - more like a bloody swimming pool!) How many of you do the same?

What's happening this weekend then John? Are you busy or are you doing more work on "The Pima House"....?

I dont think it would be wise to add any more fish (apart from a volks/titanic plec) because you what maximum growth and or space.

You dont want it looking like a million fish in a tank. Regardless of size. If John was to add any more, apart from the plec, I would add one that gets more than 3 feet. Perhaps an adonis plec? But i hear they're hard to come by.

Another Gigas, could be ok???????

the end of the mouth does seem to extend beyond the eye, which is the distinguishing feature of the W.Attu. So, I guess its answered.. :)

The close up pics of its teeth in the cat e-log on planetcatfish.com are pretty scary !!!

Aquaria central says

"Wallago attu really should not be considered an aquarium fish. They are extremely dangerous and better observed in their natural habitat or in public aquariums where they can be kept in justifiable conditions"

I hope it doesen't cause any trouble. Good luck.
