the end of the mouth does seem to extend beyond the eye, which is the distinguishing feature of the W.Attu. So, I guess its answered..

The close up pics of its teeth in the cat e-log on planetcatfish.com are pretty scary !!!

"Wallago attu really should not be considered an aquarium fish. They are extremely dangerous and better observed in their natural habitat or in public aquariums where they can be kept in justifiable conditions"

It doesnt appear that John is strapped for cash, so how about this. Buy an underwater digital camera , throw a scuba-suit on and go snap some pics! Or a snorkel.

the platinum pima was a hoax ........named dos regular pima in a white bin....( daughter of sam ) a little smaller than sos.

This is one of the first threads that I always check on when i visit MFK each time - always fascinated to see the progress on this baby. (Ha - baby! - more like a bloody swimming pool!) How many of you do the same?

What's happening this weekend then John? Are you busy or are you doing more work on "The Pima House"....?

trying to get the plexi ready for a tuesday install. tanks is ready but the plexi needs to be preped and masked.

also the plumbing needs to be worked on as well as designing the temporary retaing wall..............etc

very nice john! one suggestion tho, get an aba aba!!!!! i dont think i have seen a full grown big one on here yet. so do something unique and get an aba in that baby! whatcha think?

i think it would have to be in a growout tank for a awhile........they are pretty nasty when they grow up....somrthing to consider....

You dont want it looking like a million fish in a tank. Regardless of size. If John was to add any more, apart from the plec, I would add one that gets more than 3 feet. Perhaps an Adonis plec? But i hear they're hard to come by.

the cam is a little decieving........all the fish seem to stay forward near the window...looking crowded..........there is a a lot of empty water

currently a lot of these fish will get really big.......the nile perch and barrimundi max at 6 feet !!! The cats will get huge as well as the temnesis pbass could approach three feet

i think they also max out at 3 feet...
