Click to expand... Huge difference....Like 5 feet worth of difference...Shortnosed are the smallest of the Lepisosteids. Husbandry is very different also from a Gator. It is not Uncommon for various people to call all gar 'Alligator' often they never are gators which is why proper ID is always needed..
