Honestly, without question, this is one of the nicest aquariums i have ever seen. The stand? perfect. The tank? Perfect. And I love the aquascaping. You should be proud of you acomplishment. bravo. bravo. bravo. seriously.

Thanks man. Yea those micron filter socks work well. the 2400gph with the fx5 and x4 it has a lot of filtration on it. This filter sock already needs to be cleaned though

Yeah i would of thought it would clog up quick considering how fast the filteration cleared the water up Did i hear x4 fx5's??? Big up to you matey if so

Thanks man. Yea i was limited to 2ft width. So i stretch it the whole wall lol. I figured this would be the best i could do for the grouper. The eel just got luck lol.

Thanks man. That really means a lot, i can't help looking for things to fix. Maybe i just need to sit back and really enjoy what i have done so far. Thanks again man! I'll be sure to set some pics of the stand and canopy specifically because they are my favorite part

lol sorry typo error. Fx5 and rena xp4, then my 2400gph sump with the micron sock. I might be getting another fx5 though

Haha thanks guys. I will be adding damsels tonight. I know i know they are not that big of a deal but i need to double check that i didn't get any anerobic bacteria in that tank. Anerobic is untestable for all i know and could take out my loved fish. So i will be testing today with damsels, and adding the bio spira today. Tomorrow i think ill be picking up the fish!!!

Anyone who wants to come visit, there will be exotic dancers and free drinks this friday .


I will be ordering 30-50 damsels to add movement to the tank. I would like a huge school of them in the middle and watch my predators swoop threw them.

I would sand vac it before adding fish. When I set up my tank with live sand on top I noticed a fine layer of silt settled on the top and I left it. When I added the Huma Huma trigger he swam around and kicked it all up and the tank was cloudy again.
