The biggest one I've ever had...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You guys will not believe that I cannot find any pool filter sand... !!!!

Home Depot - no - One of the ones I visited yesterday had it, but they were discontinuing it.. and getting a rebate back from the manufactor, so they wouldn't let me buy it... :irked: All the other locations I've called, are like, 'huh'???

Wal-Mart - no

Although there are plenty of pool supply stores around, they all close by the time I'm able to get to one after work...

I'm impatient and did not want to wait till the weekend, but from the looks of it I won't have a choice.

Only one more day in the week. :)
You might want to call them ahead of time and make sure they have some in stock.

hhaha! Good point! It's just that I've been trying all week..and am just mentally exhausted from not being about to get it... Looks like I may not even get time over the weekend... disregard my drama queen-ness.. All in time:D

Ms. fishmamma,

The poolfilter sand is OK and its cheap, and you can probably get it sooner but.........I think you're gonna kick yourself if you don't go with the carib black.

I put the Caribsea Black in my Fluval Edge and that started the changeover. It is now in my 55gal brackish. The black really pops and is easy to clean.

I hope I don't, I picked some up during my lunch today... I do really like the way it looks.. had nothing to do with availability or price.. the worst I'll have to do, if I don't like it, is change it out... but I do love the Carib Black... I want to keep my tanks all a little different...;)

JK, I'm sure your tank will look great no matter what substrate you choose to use.
