THE DEAD FISH THREAD!!!!!

I've been working my way backwards from most recent posts in this thread. I've not lost my monster yet, and hope not to (13.5" leopard sailfin pleco). I'm currently working on getting him a new home since he's outgrown its holding tank and life decided get in the way of building/buying an appropriate monster tank to house 'em. Seeing all these losses make me sad for those baring the loss, but eases my pain of having to let boy go, at least he'll leave my care alive and in good health (bar any unforeseen catastrophe before he' leaves aka power outage or heater/filter failures.. *knocks on all available nearby wood (all tank stands/tables)*).
 
Farewell OJ (simpson)! He was a gnarly old blue gourami I kept in my 55 gallon growout tank. Could hang with some pretty nasty cichlids, jags and saxatalis pikes... Ripe age of 4 years, and nearly 5 inches long.

lost 12 red headed geos 15 uaru, 10 severums, 2 L24, 4 L240, 3 L137, 3 large L200 , 4 L114, 2 L14, 6 Royals , and a few more to... my neighbors kid that decided to turn on the faucet and leave it open when I was at work.... got reimbursement from his father, but nothing can replace the time and effort I invested into getting them. uploadfromtaptalk1409451324520.jpguploadfromtaptalk1409451436891.jpg

I also have just recently lost 3 fish ....while I was at work last week ...1-9in albino Oscar and 2 tinfoil barbs , 1-8in and 1-9in ....sad day

Do you mind if I ask how leaving the faucet on killed the fish? Flooded the house and flipped a GFCI plug? Too much chlorine in the tank?

too much chlorine, the boy came into my property at about 1230 pm I get work at 430 pm... so im sure 4 hours of continuous water running can kill fish. been keeping fish foe 21 years now, first time this ever happens to me with "higher quality fish".
