i have a queen arabesque pleco and personally i think that their marking are much nicer than a zebra......im also going to have to agree with most people and say its more of a bragging right to say you have a zebra than anything.

I'd say the most sought after pleco for a monster fish keeper would be a blue eye. They get big and are super rare.

I personally don't agree with you there. There are many many more desirable plecos to me than a blue eyes. H. luteus is one of them.

I use to think the same way, but after I got that killer deal on my L046 zebra, I must say they are such an amazing looking plecos, the colors are so stunning. I would never pay more than $150 for one still though. I would pay 125, but not for more than 2.
