I'm Where I'm At
fight's never gonna happen guys. I've come to terms with it already

I've heard so many things that I've just stopped caring. both guys are at fault.

let's see what has stopped this fight at one point or another (some are confirmed and some is what I've heard people say are comfirmed):

1. Floyd demands more tests that the athletic commissions doesn't require. even though he never demanded this before, he demanded it for the first time when the pac fight was on the table for the very first time and have demanded it with everyone he fights since then

2. pac is afraid of needles, since the tests required blood samples. pac refused to be bullied with these demands. pac does have a tattoo though

3. Floyd demanded random testing all the way up to fight time

4. pac eventually agreed to testing demands but only up to like 2 weeks of fight day

5. eventually pac agrees to whatever testing Floyd wants

6. Floyd wants bob arum out of the picture or the fight will never happen

7. Floyd offers to pay pac 40 million guaranteed to fight but no ppv cuts. with all the ppv cuts to himself, Floyd could make 80 mill to 100 mill

8. Floyd wants pac to sign with TMT (Floyd's promotion) or fight won't happen (this may have been said in jest though from what I hear people say)

8. freddy roach said that they ducked mayweather the first time negotiations started.

9. at one point pac demanded Floyd pay 10 million per pound that is over if Floyd should ever weigh in over the agreed weight limit after seeing that Floyd missed weight against juan manuel marquez

I'm Where I'm At
this is the saddest story for our generation

this is THE ONE BIGGEST FIGHT since ali/frazier. think about that for a moment. since ali/fraizier. bigger than sugar ray/hearns, sugar ray/haggler, ali/foreman

when this fight was on the table the very first time, it was the two best fighters in the world pound for pound, one was an offensive machine, one was a defensive strategist, both at the top of the heap in their own craft, both reside in the same weight division

this will go down in history as one of the biggest fights that never happened, if not the biggest where both were at their very best

and of course there will be a rematch clause. there is too much money for everyone not to agree to a rematch

a fight like this will have a rematch in hopes that the previous loser wins

this will be the biggest rubber match of our generation if it played out that way

Except this isn't a rematch clause for both. It's one sided. Everything you brought up has been hashed out. Pac is publicly calling Floyd out. Commercial, interviews, full court press. HBO and showtime are working together. Money split has been agreed to. Pac has agreed to any testing. The gloves are off. Floyd looks like a p***** if he backs out this time. It's the blemish on his legacy. This fight will happen before June of next year. Note it

Ps, they're estimating 200 mil plus made from this fight. 40-60 split is still amazing

Mayweather will lose if he fights the same way(defense), he would have to change his style of fighting.
I'm not the biggest fan of Mayweather but he is a defensive genius, that's why he is still unbeaten, because his foes can't hit him enough.I don't see him changing his fighting style as that is what has gotten him this far.

Yeah, and even now,a few years later these two are still the best in the game so this fight still has all of its appeal..if it happens.

I.ve learn to accept that they won't fight too. I think of it as wishful thinking more then something that's going to happen.

I agree Mayweather is the best there is when it comes to defensive fighting but Pac's offensive is nothing Mayweather has seen before.
