you've heard about roach admitting to ducking Floyd the first time the negotiations came around? I had only heard that recently

I also recently saw that at one point Floyd sr said he feels jr can beat pac, but jr just needs to believe it first.

sounds like both sides were afraid at some point.

anyways, I don't know why you guys are all excited for. this isn't the first time pac has publically called out Floyd. and Floyd has called out pac as well before.

what fails to make the fight materialize is when they get to the negotiations table. ridiculous stipulations and absurd demands is what fails. I don't see why this is any different from the last few times they tried.

not that it won't happen, I am just going by what I've seen in the past. likely this fight will not happen.
 
and I don't believe they'll change their style much if they were to ever fight. maybe more careful

Floyd will use his usual defensive shell and pac has never fought defensively. I don't see that changing much.

but regardless, this fight is years passed what it could've been. they both have lost a step, and pac has lost twice, making this fight no where near what it would be. still would be the hugest fight in quite some time though
 
It would be the fight of generational dominance if it ever happened but I don't think it ever will, like everyone has said the demands for co-promotion and PPV% will always make both parties decline because both see themselves as the A side. It really is a shame it didn't happen years ago before they both lost a step and almost became caricatures of themselves as they got older. What will probably end up happening is Floyd will fight khan and Manny will fight Crawford or vargas and after they will do this dance again and everyone will get excited and then disappointed
