The Official Boxing Thread

I think thats part of the problem with Floyd, this next best thing concept. Maybe not you personally but all the pay per view buys throughout his entire career. You guys have spent your money and made his career. The last two fights were the lowest pay per view buys of his career over the last 10 years and he still got paid. It's time to tune him out and he PAYS you back by giving you the fight you want. It's time to stand up and vote with your pocket book. No other fight matters. Shame on anyone who puts a dime into floyds next fight if it isn't against manny

No,not me,I have never bought a boxing pay per view regardless who the top guy was.I was speaking from the standpoint of someone looking forward to seeing a good fight so I won't say that no other fight matters, especially not at this point but I'm probably more of a boxing fan than you are.Floyd and Manny will be the biggest grossing fight ever but that only means anything to those who prosper from it and the fight won't mean crap to fans if it turns out to be another Mayweather sparring snoozefest.

cinco de mayo being a big boxing weekend doesn't necessarily have to have Mexican fighters. but if Floyd fights that weekend, I guarantee there will be Mexican fighters on the undercard at least

anyways, I've never paid for a mayweather fight. I don't even stream his fights. I've only ever watched clips or maybe seen like 2 or 3 of his fights in their entirety.

but he has a huge following regardless of what some fishkeepers think of him. he's gonna continue to get paid,.........just not by me though

I think the last complete fight of his that I watched was against Diego Corales which was on HBO and was quite a war...no,scratch that...I watched him and Zab Judah get it on...I won't get excited about the Nayweather-Pac dangling carrot until the contracts are signed and a date is set.

Except his buys are down and the companies that put the fights on lost money? It's part of the reason they're pushing for this fight. They can't keep losing money while FLOYD gets paid.

Plus we all agree his fights are sleep inducing. Knock someone out please.

I've heard talk of some Arab tycoon offering to pay two hundred million dollars to have the fight in his country.
