2nd try with (hopefully) true piraiba. Vendor is adamant these are from Brazil, not from Peru. Got 5. Very lucky.

love all the new fish vik! got mine from charles! already an inch larger... from what i can tell these are true filamentosum. the snouts, eye placement, spotting, its clear that we got them! my hunt is now finally over, and i hope yours is to! i hope to see these guys pushing 4-5 foot in your 10k! keep us updated. I will be starting my own thread. when mine came in, they were pure white, like i had ordered platinum piraiba. quickly, like how you did, they were fine, and I did not do my full acclimation procedure that i follow for every fish i own.
