Upcoming Movies and TV shows

Just got back from seeing Venom and I enjoyed it.....great post credit teaser too!

Glad you liked it! Ya I loved seeing Woody Harrilson. I am not very familiar at all with the story of Venom so I had to look up what that was all about.

So did I,I've been aware of the characters but didn't know their backstory. Harrelson should be a hoot.

Another weekend, another movie(s) review from pman. (NO SPOILERS)

Solid week in movies this weekend. My packers do not play until today so skipped football yesterday and went to a double feature.

First Man: Very solid performance by Ryan Gosling. I really like him as an actor and thought he was wonderful. Story brings forth parts of his past about a daughter, that I did research on. It appears they added some details that were not true, but for emotional drama. Not my thing but I can look past it. I remember reading on here about no American flag. This is false. Many American flags throughout the film. I thought it was quite patriotic. Awesome CGI and cinematography, visually stunning. Worth the watch! 7/10.

Bad Times at the El Royale: This one takes the cake this week. I absolutely loved the plot. Very unique and just very strange. Jumps right in without much back story and you are thrown into the bizarre twist of storylines from each character POV. Great cast, and again great acting. Fair warning, there is a lot of violence with equal amounts of humor, and also some strange storylines. This one grabbed my attention and kept me waiting to see what was coming. Would highly recommend. 7.8/10.

Any other questions on these two, let me know!

Haha no questions from me about them; While I didn't have much interest in seeing First Man either way I am pleased to know that the whole flag omission thing is false. I intend to check out El Royale this week on one of my days off from work so what you've already said about that will do for now.

Good to hear that they didn't take the PC route like was thought. I might see First man after it comes out on video probably. El Royale is one I probably won't see though, I don't care for the weird style movies like that myself.

Let me clarify, I said No showing of planting the flag(on the Moon). I apologize if this was confused with no showing the flag.
