Upcoming Movies and TV shows

Weekly pman movie review time! Only made it to one this week as I have seen all the others playing that even look mildly interesting.

Halloween: Not good. I didnt have plans on seeing this one but it was getting great reviews and I wanted a break from football. It started off boring and didnt ramp up much. There were some high points for sure, but they were dulled by pure stupidity of the actors, plot holes ect. I am not a fan of these "slasher" type movies so maybe this is why I didnt like it but some scenes were just laughable and dumb. I would not recommend. Maybe @krichardson saw it and can give a different viewpoint. 5.8/10
 
I also saw Halloween and actually enjoyed but unlike Piranha I am a fan of the genre.I like how the strode woman gre into a Sarah Connor survivalist type.The British journalist guy and his whole involvement annoyed me though.
I also saw Bad Times at The El Royale which I enjoyed as well.

I also like like slasher movies. I didn't like Halloween 3 though. Bad Times at The El Royale previews look good.

Some scenes seemed to be a bit longer than they needed to be but that was a small matter. It had kind of a Smokin Aces feel to it.

Ya I guess I just dont feel for the genre.

Glad you liked bad times, I think that is my favorite film this year.
 
I didn't even know they did another Halloween movie. What is that now like a dozen of them? lol. I'm not big into the slasher type films either, Halloween is kind'a of a classic though far as slasher films go.
 
Another weekend, another pman movie review.

Bohemian Rhapsody: Wonderfully done movie. I know Queen, but was not completely familiar with their story. This movie presents the story of Queen through the life of Freddie Mercury. Great live band scenes that felt amazing in a Dolby Vision Theater (Extra loud sound ect.) Rami Malek did a wonderful job portraying Mercury. I would highly recommend seeing this movie. 8.5/10.
 
The Purge(tv version) has been renewed. However Reverie has not...shame. While I like both, I would have preferred Reverie first.
 
Hah!......they may be forced to bring him back.
