It has been a great season for them ECW, gotten our limit (5 per person) just about everytime we go out, some have been monsters at around 2kg.

Love it. What are you tying them with? Just tape around the claws and body? I type under the face, under the claws, then over, across the back, then under the swimmers. They are some tough SOB's.

We use standard electrical tape, one guy holds the claws against the body and another wraps 3-4 times around each claw. Literally takes 30 seconds per crab. I am forever hoarding tape. Lol.

Whoa! That's a lot of electrical tape! I think I may try that next time when I get the chance. Problem is I'm usually the only one tying. Everybody else is too afraid. Lol.
